Upside Management was set up in 2002 on request from ITV, who Simon and Denise had worked with during their time at BMG. They were looking to engage reliable management to manage the girls from TV programme "Popstars: The Rivals". As a result Upside went on to manage Clea. The girls were signed to Warner Music and later Upside Records and were licensed and released in 22 territories worldwide.

On disbanding Aimee and Emma from the band formed Loveshy, their first single "AM to PM" went to number one on the pop dance charts, the girls reached the final six in Eurovision and went on to get single releases in the US and various other countries.

On recommendation from Syco, Upside went on to sign platinum album selling, Journey South, the brothers who were runners up on ITV's X Factor. As well as managing, Upside helped facilitate the 2nd album "Home" on the boys own label, organised a 2nd 35 date tour and secured a publishing deal with Warner Chappell and record deal in South Africa.

Having just signed to Capitol / Universal, 22 year old Karen Harding is already a force to be reckoned with. Her debut single Say Something smashed into the top 10 in February 2015.

Danny Dearden is a 22 year old singer from Manchester, after making it through to Mel B's judges houses on The X Factor in 2014, Danny is now writing and recording and currently touring the UK on his own schools tour in association with Pop Beats Bullying.

Upside keep the Management side of the company to a small, select few, in order to focus on the individual needs and unique talents of our artists. This enables us, to give our acts the benefit of our vast experience and industry contacts without compromise.
